Reiki Terms and Conditions

1. Nature of Reiki Services

Reiki is a holistic, energy-based practice intended to support relaxation, stress reduction, and overall well-being. Virtual Reiki sessions are conducted remotely and do not involve physical touch.

Reiki is not a substitute for medical care, mental health treatment, psychotherapy, or professional medical advice. No medical diagnosis, treatment, or prescription is offered.

2. No Medical or Psychological Claims

By participating in a virtual Reiki session, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Reiki is a complementary practice, not a medical or mental health service

  • Reiki practitioners do not diagnose conditions or guarantee outcomes

  • You are responsible for seeking licensed medical or mental health professionals for medical concerns

If you have a medical condition, mental health diagnosis, or are under the care of a healthcare provider, you are encouraged to consult them before participating.

3. Client Responsibility & Consent

By booking a session, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old (or have parental/guardian consent)

  • You voluntarily choose to receive virtual Reiki services

  • You understand that results vary from person to person

You agree to take full responsibility for your physical, mental, and emotional well-being before, during, and after sessions.

4. Virtual Session Disclaimer

Virtual Reiki sessions are conducted remotely and rely on your openness and willingness to receive energy work. While many clients report positive experiences, results cannot be guaranteed.

You acknowledge that distance Reiki is experiential and subjective in nature.

5. Emotional Release

Reiki may bring emotional awareness or release. This is a normal response for some individuals. If emotional discomfort arises, it is your responsibility to seek appropriate professional support if needed.

6. Confidentiality

All personal information shared during sessions is kept confidential and will not be shared without your consent, except where required by law.

Please note that electronic communication and virtual platforms carry inherent privacy risks despite best efforts to protect confidentiality.

7. Payment & Booking

  • Payment is required in full prior to the session

  • Session length and pricing are clearly stated at the time of booking

  • Sessions are non-transferable

8. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

  • Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance

  • Late cancellations or no-shows may result in forfeiture of the session fee

  • Exceptions may be made at the practitioner’s discretion

9. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of energy work, no refunds are offered once a session has been delivered.

10. Limitation of Liability

By booking a virtual Reiki session, you release and hold harmless the practitioner from any liability, claims, or damages arising from participation in the session.

You agree that participation is entirely voluntary and at your own risk.

By booking or participating in a virtual Reiki session, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
