I’d argue there’s never a more important time to move your body than during these dreary winter months 😮💨
So here are my favorite ways to get active when I really do not want to, from easiest to most effort:
1. Literally lie down on your floor and do some bodyweight exercises (glute bridges, Supermans, sit ups) with plenty of breaks in between.
2. Sit on your couch and grab some dumbbells or even just candles or water bottles and do some weighted arm exercises while you watch tv.
3. When you’re calling a friend or family member, walk around your house while doing so. Bonus points if you walk outside.
4. Do a cozy 20-30 min yoga video on YouTube (yoga with Adriene is my fave for chill yoga). No need to feel guilty for not doing a more intense workout.
5. If you go to the gym, use the machines where all you have to do is sit down and use the machines to push your arms and legs to do exercises (lol).

Life Alive is one of my favorite places!! They are so good with all kinds of dietary restrictions, and everyone who I’ve brought here that does not avoid anything loves it too!
My go to is definitely a grain bowl from here. I also love their sea salt caramel latte made from dates.
I also always feel good after eating here! It’s all organic and made from real ingredients that you can pronounce! The portion sizes are also really filling. The garlic tamari sauce is a must try, I could drink it lolol.
